Sonik Sports is one of the newer brands on the market and the company was only established in 2008. The company prides itself on its growth and has big plans to further expand in the industry. It aims to do this through the creation of rods that continually exceed expectations and provide exceptional value for money.

Hugely popular since the initial launch, the Vader X range of rods offer incredible performance and looks for the price. Boasting a slim and lightweight carbon fibre blank, the Vader X RS provides a progressive casting action and fast tip recovery for long, accurate casts.

In addition, Sonik has added a line friendly custom contoured Sonik clip with 50mm guide pattern on 12ft 3.00lb and above. The model is available in 12ft length, perfect for distance casting.

All the Vader X rods feature a fold friendly ringing pattern to make transport easier. The rod has a 17mm black DPS reel seat to house all big pit reels as well as a slim Japanese shrink wrap butt grip for maximum control.

Aesthetically, the rod is also impressive with a black anodised butt cap laser etched with S logo.

The new spool design provides smooth long casts and superb line lay, and the ultra-fast retrieve ratio rate of 4.1:1 makes the reel ideal for fishing or spodding alike, as one crank of the handle recovers up to 1.1m of line.

Supplied ready to go and pre-loaded with 200m of 30b quality braid, with every handle turn your time spent winding is kept to a minimum.
